ADIPS

Every ride We Are Tricycle hire out is up to the standards of the Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme or ADIPS for short. This is like an MOT but for fun fair rides, each ride will have an up to date certificate which can be viewed at a moment's notice. This ensures that all rides are in top working condition and have been declared safe to operate.

Crowd Control

Fairgrounds attract a lot of footfall and a way to make sure traffic keeps flowing is by marking out safe routes with fencing. This ensures a natural flow of people and no one will wander into an area where hazards are present. We Are Tricycle have the experience to plan routes beforehand using our knowledge of which rides attract the most attention and placing crowd control measures strategically.

Trained Staff

Having staff that are trained in health and safety placed around the site is essential. They have the eyes and ears to spot problems before they occur and deal with them directly. Our staff are trained in all HSE procedures and are very up to the task in hand. Staff running rides can also ensure that guests are behaving safely on rides by checking height restrictions, making sure restraints are fully locked and monitoring adverse weather conditions.

Risk Assessments

For each job we carry out risk assessments to ensure we are prepared for every eventuality. Having a plan for everything is just good practice so that’s exactly what we do. Safety and maintenance checks are also carried out on each ride before letting customers on and monitored throughout use.

Insurance

It is of course not something we’d ever like to think about but in the event of an accident We Are Tricycle have liability insurance for each attraction to give you that extra peace of mind.
