Terms and Conditions of Booking with RDC Attractions LTD T/A We Are Tricycle

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between RDC Attractions LTD T/A We Are Tricycle (referred to as "the Company") and the individual, organisation, or entity making the booking (referred to as "the Client").

  • The Company is responsible for providing the services, equipment, and attractions as agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • The Client is the individual or organisation that enters into this agreement by booking services with the Company and is responsible for ensuring compliance with these Terms and Conditions, including providing accurate information and ensuring site access and readiness for the event.

By making a booking with the Company, the Client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Payment

1.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the services unless otherwise stated on confirmation of booking.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 In the event of cancellation:

  • If the cancellation is made between 60 and 31 days before the event date, the Client will be liable to pay 50% of the total invoice amount.
  • If the cancellation is made 30 days or less before the event date, the Client will be liable to pay 100% of the total invoice amount.
    2.2 Any booking fees paid in advance are non-refundable.

3. Force Majeure

3.1 RDC Attractions LTD T/A We Are Tricycle shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing the agreed services where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
3.2 Circumstances beyond our control include, but are not limited to:

  • Extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, high winds, soft ground).
  • Restricted access, incorrect licenses, or inaccurate site information provided by the Client.
  • Natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, governmental actions, strikes, protests, pandemics, or epidemics.
    3.3 In such cases, no refund shall be provided, and RDC Attractions LTD reserves the right to a reasonable extension of time for performance of the services.

4. Equipment Supply

4.1 While every effort will be made to supply the equipment booked, RDC Attractions LTD reserves the right to:

  • Substitute any ride or attraction with one of equivalent size and value in the event of mechanical failure, breakdown, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Provide a partial refund, less administrative fees and charges for time already incurred, if no substitute equipment is available.

5. Obligations

5.1 RDC Attractions LTD will:

  • Deliver, transport, set up, safety check, manage, and remove all booked rides and attractions to a reasonable standard.
  • Monitor weather conditions using up-to-date MET Office reports.
  • Provide relevant documentation, including public liability insurance certificates, risk assessments, method statements, and ADIPS test paperwork (where applicable).

6. Access and Site Visits

6.1 RDC Attractions LTD strongly recommends a site visit for venues we have not previously worked with.
6.2 Site visits are charged at £1 per mile (each way) from our office in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, with a minimum charge of £100.
6.3 A site visit is not required if the Client guarantees:

  • Good large HGV and vehicle access.
  • Gates wide enough for vehicle entry, sufficient turning circles, and reasonably level ground.
  • Absence of obstructions such as low bridges, overhanging trees, or other restrictions.

    6.4 If access issues arise on the event day (e.g., due to restricted access, soft ground, or obstructions), RDC Attractions LTD reserves the right to cancel the booking. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
    6.5 A site visit does not guarantee access or operation. It is conducted to assess potential restrictions, measure access points, and discuss logistical arrangements.

7. Ground Damage

7.1 RDC Attractions LTD and sub contractors make every effort to ensure no ground damage is caused on delivery, install and operation. We take no responsibility for ground damage involving grass, grass verges, embankments, or roads constructed of stone or gravel.

8. Additional Costs

8.1 The quoted price includes delivery, installation, staffing (where applicable) , risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), and generators (where applicable) for the agreed hire period.
8.2 Additional charges will apply for overruns beyond the agreed hire period, as follows:

  • £100 + VAT per game stall per hour.
  • £150 + VAT per children’s ride or game stall per hour.
  • £300 + VAT per large ride per hour.

8.3 All HGVs and delivery vehicles/trailers must remain on site, additional costs will be incurred should they have to be removed from site without prior arrangement.

8.4 Ground protection mats are available with all rides at an additional cost (subject to availability)
