Giant garden games are a popular option for outdoor events and gatherings. They add a unique touch of fun and excitement to any occasion, and can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike.

Each of these giant garden games requires a different amount of space, so it's essential to measure the area you have available before renting any of them to avoid disappointment on the big day. However, garden games have some of the smallest space requirements of all of our products, so there's usually no problem hiring them for events and parties.

Here's an overview of the space requirements for some popular giant games. As always, if you have any questions or uncertainty, speak with We Are Tricycle and we'll be happy to assist further.

  • Giant Jenga: For giant Jenga, you will need a flat and stable surface measuring at least 2.5 meters by 2.5 meters, and enough space for a standing adult. Make sure that there are no fragile items around the tower, as it's sure to tumble on them!
  • Giant Connect Four: Giant Connect Four requires an area of at least 1.5ms in length, plus enough space for participants to walk around it. You'll need enough space for an adult to stand comfortably. Participants only need to be able to access one side of the Giant Connect Four game, but you might find it's more immersive if they can stand on either side.
  • Giant Draughts and Giant Chess: Giant Draughts needs a flat surface measuring at least 4x4m, with enough space for participants to walk around the board to check their strategy. These giant board games ought to be sited on flat ground so they look their best and so the pieces don't slide from their spots. You'll also need to leave some extra space around the edges to allow players to stand and move around the pieces.

When you're checking your space requirements for our giant garden games, you should also consider the location. Choose an area that is easily accessible and visible to your guests, and find a flat, obstacle-free location that's set aside from other attractions to ensure people can play without distraction.

We hope this article has given you an idea of the space requirements for each game, and you can now plan your next event with confidence! If you have any questions or need more information, contact We Are Tricycle - we'll give you all the advice you need.
