Thankfully we are coming out of the winter into a bright and positive 2022! The fears of further restrictions and a repeat of last year have gladly not materialised, and this means that confidence has returned to the funfair hire market this springtime, as well as to customers!
So since we are returning full this year to large scale outdoor events we thought we’d give a run down on what we think are the top attractions to bring people together!
Ferris Wheels
Nothing says funfair like a Ferris wheel! Rising high up above everything else with its lights twinkling it lets people from miles around know that the fairground is in town. A beloved, relaxing ride for all the family, they offer views for photo opportunities and make wonderful memorable moments for friends and partners. We happen to have three of them!

Funhouses
One of the things that children haven’t been able to do for the last two years is play together, a lot of very young ones are just now getting that experience. A brilliant way for them to really let their imaginations run wild are funhouses! Also suitable for adults, these fun-filled wacky assault courses have always been a stable of the classic funfair. Carousels
The lights, the figurines, the music - carousels are a work of art as well as a ride. A brilliant ride for children to try as their first one with a parent sat with them - which always makes for a brilliant Instagram moment - carousels and merry-go-rounds are always a delight at fairgrounds and similar events. We have a great range of carousels to hire of varying sizes and styles, ready for you to bring to your celebration.
Crazy Cage
For the thrill seekers who haven’t had a white knuckle ride since before lockdown, adrenaline-pumping rides like the Crazy Cage are finally back. The Crazy Cage was a product that was unable to operate under social distancing, so with that now a thing of the past, the fun can begin again! No seats, no harnesses - just the law of physics holding you to the ride as you spin, laughing and holding onto your friends - why not find out how the Crazy Cage works before you have a go? We have a whole host of white knuckle rides at We Are Tricycle, but we have a soft spot for this one!
Waltzers
Get in, get bunched up with your pals, put your arms in the air and scream if you want to go faster! We all know the drill and no matter how many times you take a spin on the Waltzers, it never gets old. What better way to bring people together and say a big welcome back to big events!
So there you have it, all you need to make a big celebration of normality truly coming back, so much fun to be had with each one, and don’t we deserve it!
