The tale begins decades ago with a ride operator affectionately nicknamed “Cloggy” due to his trademark wooden clogs. According to folklore, even after his passing, Cloggy never truly clocked off. Staff claim his spirit remains dedicated to his “shift,” patrolling the ride long after closing time.
Visitors and workers alike have reported the distinctive clop-clop sound of wooden soles echoing through the tunnels and along the loading bay — long after the ride has emptied. It’s said that if you hear those heavy footsteps behind you, Cloggy is making his rounds.
