That said, we’d like to highlight a few things you may not know about We Are Tricycle. Hopefully you find this information interesting, we had a blast putting it together!

Did You Know How Diverse Our Funfair Rides Are?

We know how important it is to have a huge and varied fleet of funfair rides, attractions, games and experiences to provide to our customers.

We couldn’t really claim to be experts in entertaining if we had a limited, small supply of games and attractions! We pride ourselves on bringing unique experiences to our customers because we know no two parties are the same.

For this reason we’re proud to provide Christmas Huts for festive occasions, Bavarian attractions for a Germany themed party as well as corporate experiences for work days out and team building exercises. Just take a look around our page to see what type of experiences and attractions we can bring to your next event!

Did You know there’s a difference between Dodgems and Bumper Cars?

If you had no idea there was a difference between bumper cars and dodgems, let us explain exactly what the differences are!

To understand the differences, we’ll need to take a look into history! When Dodgems were invented in America in the 1920s, they were named Dodgem after the company that invented them! Obviously the name is a clever pun on dodging other cars and avoiding bumping into each other!

In early versions of dodgems, customers and guests were not allowed to bump into other cars! In fact, this led to some people being asked to leave the fun fair! Wild to think about now. Given how much fun it is to bang into other cars, Dodgems became known as Bumper Cars after owners decided to allow drivers to crash into each other. Thus, the fun of chasing a friend or foe around a track to bang into them was allowed!

Did you know the history of mini golf?

Being the entertainment experts that we are at We Are Tricycle, we love catering to corporate fun days as well as bigger family parties and occasions. One of our most popular attractions is our mini golf. We can understand why it’s so popular but did you know the history of mini golf?

Originally created in the 20th century, mini golf was originally called "Gofstacle'' in the 1912 edition of the Illustrated London News. The name comes from combining golf and obstacles! Then, in 1922, golf enthusiast Thomas McCullough Fairbairn created artificial grass. This was the perfect environment for a new, mini version of golf. Thus the birth of what we know as mini-golf!
