It probably comes as no surprise to learn that 2020 hasn't been the best year for the funfair ride hire sector! With large public gatherings cancelled, and with events across the UK postponed, it's been difficult to get our fairground rides out of storage. Companies that cater for private households might have been able to wheel out a few of their entertainment options for children's birthday parties and similar occasions, but firms like ours that typically cater for larger occasions, such as fetes, festivals and corporate events, have really struggled.

However, we've managed to keep things ticking over, and we've kept up with the testing and maintenance of all of our products, so we're looking forward to hitting the ground running when things start to open back up again. With news of a COVID vaccine around the corner, with the government promising to reopen businesses and allow social gatherings, and with event spaces planning different ways to allow large gatherings safely in a post-COVID world, we're quietly optimistic that our funfair equipment will be lighting up events soon!
Fairground Hire 2021
You'd have to look on the dark side of life to not expect a return to near-normality by Summer 2021. We're hopeful that large events, fetes, fundraisers and festivals might have come back before then, especially with vaccines being rolled out at a super speed!
Wouldn't it be great if you could hire our funfair rides for 2021 Valentines' Day celebrations? It could happen! We've got romantic options such as our Adult Swing Boats that would be ideal for Valentines' Day 2021. Maybe our vintage carousel could appear at winter Weddings this year?
But when it gets a bit later in the year, our UK funfair hire team become even more optimistic. We're hoping to provide summer entertainment in 2021! All the big UK festivals, such as Glastonbury and Download, are scheduled for this summer, and you'd have to be full of doom and gloom to not secretly anticipate that these events will go ahead. Christmas Event Hire
In normal years, we'd be expecting to have most of our Alpine Chalets and Christmas Huts booked out already, but this isn't a normal year! Usually, these Alpine Chalets are hired out as retail outlets for Christmas markets, but very few if any are going ahead this year. If you're fortunate enough to have a use for Christmas huts in 2020, we're the team you need - perhaps you're hosting a themed event for the people in your office, or hosting a big celebration for a school and looking to hire a Santa's Grotto?
