Santa in the Chimney is a festive fairground game, where players try to hit a stuffed Santa with a hammer as he drops down a fake chimney. It is a Christmas twist on Splat the Rat, and it suits Christmas markets, school carnivals and office parties. Hire starts from £495, and we supply the stall throughout the UK, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.
Catching Santa Before He Slips Down the Chimney
A stuffed Santa toy is dropped down the chimney, and the player has to hit it with a hammer before it slips past. The game only takes a moment to explain, but good timing takes some practice, so people often want another go. It tests patience, skill and reaction times, and it gets plenty of laughs from friends and family watching at the side.
A Festive Stall for Christmas Markets and Office Parties
This fairground side stall is fun for guests of all ages, so it fits a wide range of winter events.
- Christmas markets: a traditional game to go alongside your food and gift stalls.
- School Christmas carnivals: a simple game for children, parents and teachers.
- Office parties: a light-hearted activity at a Christmas party.
- Winter celebrations and local fairs: a seasonal change from the usual stalls.
Pairing Santa in the Chimney With Other Christmas Stalls
A row of festive games makes a bigger impression than a single stall. You could add our Christmas pudding shy, then a Hook a Christmas Duck a little further along. Our Hoop a Nutcracker and Whack a Turkey stalls are other options. See the full range of Christmas funfair stalls, or read our Christmas funfair ride ideas for a larger event.
Santa in the Chimney Hire Prices
Santa in the Chimney stall hire starts from £495. Your final quote depends on the date, location and hire length, and includes delivery, set-up and collection. Ask us about prizes when you book, and we will talk you through the options for your event.
The 8ft Santa Stall Footprint and Access Route
- Space needed: 8ft x 8ft, 8ft high.
- Access route: at least 3ft wide.
- Where it works: indoors on a hard surface, outdoors on grass or outdoors on hard ground.
- Suitable for: children and adults.
The small size and narrow access route mean the stall can reach school halls, function rooms and town centre sites that larger attractions cannot. For an outdoor Christmas market, put it close to a busy walkway where people will see the game being played, and leave room at the front for a short queue.
